I am a heart transplant recipient living in Denver, Colorado who will celebrate 8 fantastic years with my new heart in July. I chose this song not just because I'm an 80s girl at heart (pun intended), but because I love the message of belonging.

If I could tell anyone in the transplant community something to comfort them, it would be that they belong. Not just in our community, but EVERYWHERE. And I think the Transplant Games truly celebrate this.
